About Bosworth Independent College
Bosworth Independent College offers
first class GCSE and A/AS Level courses
to students from the UK and overseas. Our students
range from 14-19 years old and study in groups
with an average of 8 students per class, giving
them the care and attention they need. This
opportunity for feedback and communication is
uncommon at other institutions and gives us the
best opportunity to carefully monitor each and
every student’s progress.
Founded in 1977, Bosworth Independent College has over 80 experienced teachers to our 320 students, who offer the focused teaching and career support that is needed. All members of the Bosworth Independent College academic faculty are qualified teachers, with degrees in their teaching subject. Many of the staff hold either a Masters Degree or a Doctorate. All teachers have a great deal of experience in teaching their subject, and many are examiners for A Level examination boards.
Bosworth has a history of strong academic success and achievement and our graduate students go on to some of the best universities in the country. This can be seen in our A Level results 2009, A Level results 2008 and A Level results 2007.
For our local students, Bosworth is not only seen as a GCSE or A-Level college, but is also a provider of GCSE and A Level retakes.
For our overseas students, Bosworth also provides high quality University Foundation courses, English Language programmes and one of the best academic Summer Schools in England.
Bosworth provides many opportunities for students to develop their wide range of skills and interests outside of the classroom through a variety of sports and activities. We also have experienced and caring boarding staff to meet the needs of each individual student.
“Bosworth takes students from all academic, social and cultural backgrounds and instils in them a work ethic that sees each student achieve their maximum potential”.
