Admission Process - How to Apply to Bosworth Independent College
You can either apply online to enrol on a course or you can return an application from our prospectus. This can be sent back to us by fax, email or post. Applying online is fast, easy and gives us the best opportunity to get a provisional offer back to you as quickly as possible.Upon receiving your application, we can then review your most recent academic qualifications and English language level and cross-reference this with the entry requirements for the course you have selected. We will then check that there are places available on your desired course. If you match the requirements of your chosen course then we will to you by post (or scan and email – depending on where you live) a provisional offer letter alongwith our terms and conditions for you to read and sign against. We will also include information of the fees and the methods of payment. To confirm your acceptance of our provisional offer, and reserve your place, you will be required to sign and return our acceptance reply form. At this stage, we require a course deposit and registration fee. Please make sure you read and understand the admissions policy and the terms & conditions should you accept a place at Bosworth Independent College.Once we receive the above (step 4) we will send you a confirmation letter with your visa support documentation. Your pre-arrival pack also includes forms for you to fill in and return to us: your accommodation preference, and your expected arrival time and travel details. You arrive at Bosworth Independent College and receive your arrival pack before starting induction week, followed by the beginning of your new course with us.Points Based System
The new Points Based System (PBS) for student visas was introduced in March 2009. Any institution offering a place of study to a student must have a Sponsor Licence Number (SLN).
Bosworth Independent College are pleased to announce that we have been granted our licence and the licence number appears on all of our "Confirmation of Acceptance" Letters.
We do strongly advise all prospective students to be aware of the changes to the visa application process and read the information on the following web site: www.ukvisas.gov.uk - Academic Calendar
