Boarding Information
At Bosworth College we offer both full and weekly boarding. All the supervised houses are furnished in a similar style and have a common room and a small kitchen area as well as laundry facilities. The common room has some indoor recreational facilities including television, DVD player, computer, pool tables and free wireless broadband internet. Residential students from 14-17 years of age reside in our fully supervised boarding houses, after which they may, with approval, transfer to a College senior house. All accommodation is single sex with a choice of a single or twin shared rooms.
Meals are taken in our cafeteria-style dining hall, where we typically provide a choice of four different meals, catering for all tastes and recognising any dietary needs. During the week, Monday-Friday, we also have a modern bistro style café where students can elect to have a lighter lunch or snack. We take an active interest in the health of our students, taking note of students’ dietary habits.
The restaurant and bistro are both located in St George’s, and at weekends this is a central meeting place for students.
We strive to recreate a caring family environment so that students are then free to concentrate on their studies. To help students to settle and to reassure parents and guardians we have certain provisions in place, from registration with a doctors surgery on arrival, to a range of boarding safety rules and curfew times for students of different ages.
All students under 18 years of age or those experiencing their first time in the UK will usually spend their first year in our boarding houses.
Students moving into their second year are offered the option of an senior house and host family accommodation in addition to the boarding house option.
