Bosworth offers a range of high quality GCSE courses and GCSE retakes

GCSE Courses
This GCSE course is appropriate for students between the ages of 14 – 16 and can be taken over a period of one or two years. Students opting for the one-year intensive course are usually 15+ and can take between 5-6 subjects; this largely depends on the student’s previous academic achievements and level of English.
Younger students (14 years old) are usually placed on a two-year course, and over the two years take between 7-10 subjects.
GCSE courses provide students with the basis required for entry to A level courses the following year. Full advice is offered to GCSE students about their choice of A level subjects through their tutorial programme and meetings with course directors.

Foundation GCSE study with English Language
This one-year combined English Language/GCSE programme allows international students to study up to 5 subjects alongside an intensive English Language course. The course consists of three compulsory subjects: Mathematics, ICT and Combined Science plus two of the following options; Business Studies, Art and Geography. The students are also receiving intensive language tuition and aiming to complete the PET Cambridge examination.
Bosworth provides a supportive environment in which students may complete homework and coursework when they are not in lessons, through timetabled study hall sessions, as well as receiving additional assistance from their personal tutors.
