Duke of Edinburgh Award

Bosworth student Krupesh presents a cheque to Romeo and Cinderella

This year the College is running for the first time the Duke of Edinburgh Award. This is open to all of our students and has three levels: Bronze, Silver and Gold. The participants choose to develop their skills in three areas: Skills, Physical Activity and Service. The awsard is a great way to pick up new experiences, friends and talents that will stay with them for life. This award is highly valued by both universities and employers, and can benefit students when submitting the UCAS applications.

Those on the scheme have been working with ‘Young Creations’ a voluntary organisation made up of able and disabled participants. The aim of the organisation is for young people to express themselves through the arts. Pictured above in this year’s Panto Performance!
