Charity Day

Written by Camilla Raca and Sunny Amar (British)

For this year’s Red Nose Day, the Student Council held various activities to raise money for Comic Relief.  We began with a student slave auction where the student committee volunteers themselves as slaves for a day.  This proved a success as we raised over £70.  We then followed with a cake sale which raised over £100 : )  Combined with the teacher’s total, we raised over £230.

Also to raise money for “Rainbows Children Hospice”, the Student Council have set up a spring party which has so far raised over £300.  We hope it will be a great night and prove a success.

On the night of the Spring Fling, we have also decided to sell glow sticks to raise money and make the night fun!
