During February, 270 schools in Northamptonshire closed for a couple of days due to extreme weather conditions and heavy snow fall.  We experienced around 15-20cm of snow which made driving conditions terrible and many flights to and from London Heathrow were cancelled.

For many of our students, it was a great day to relax and enjoy fresh snow – and many could experience it for the first time in their lives.  For others, it was difficult to understand why England stopped moving for 2 days!

Our students certainly enjoyed themselves and were upset to come back into lessons the very next day.
