What did you like best about Bosworth?
I can't think any beautiful word to describe my 3-year time in Bosworth, I felt it totally changed my life. I think it is not enough to say thanks to everyone who helped with my study and my life, Mrs Carter, Mr Boothman, Mr O'hare and especially, Mrs Renouf, I can tell anyone how much I hate Math and Statistics before she being my teacher. HAHA! I am sure I ll be back to say thanks to everyone when I becoming more succesful in my study or career.

Thanks Bosworth......I am studying in UCL for Information Management for Business. But of course......under pressure. HAHA

What did you like best about Bosworth?
Bosworth is a place where you can learn to live independently, yet are able to get all the support when needed. It is, I believe, very important, especially to an international student like myself who had never been abroad and lived far from home before. It is a place where everybody knows each other and your name is remembered not just during the time you stay in Bosworth but even many years afterwards.
Where are you now?
After graduating from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), I spent some time in the States and Singapore before going back to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. I am now working for Savills Vietnam as a financial analyst in property investment.

Smiley Last Day Memories, Goodbye :D (by Chloe Phung)
I give a smiling icon in my title with the hope that we smile when we recall about all the things we had in Bosworth. Today I went to college the last time and wandered around Nazareth House for a while. I came into all the rooms that I studied before: room 2, 5, 6, 13. When I entered the rooms I almost cried. They were all empty. There were no friends around no chit-chatting and….. no teachers.

Besides Mr. Davies, Mrs Renouf was the teacher who I spent most of the week with, 5 lessons a week I remember. If lessons were at the last period of the day then I would always show up at the class with a tired face. But well I have to say, statistics to me, is an interesting subject which I could understand and found it really practical in life. I promise to you that I will continue studying it in University and I will try to do my best in it : D
To my most favourite economics teacher Mr Moran you inspired me a lot. I still remember in my AS, on the day I did pilot paper, you even arrived to college to mark my unit 3 paper for my revision. Sir, thank you and thank you, I don’t know what to say more than those words but I hope you will understand how grateful I am to you.
To my personal tutor Mrs. Cieslewicz, you are like my second mother who cared for every aspect of my life. Mrs, it was you who tried very hard with me during my University application. I don’t know whether I can get into my dream University without your help. Thank you …… mom!
I also have a special friend, Mr. Ian, the chef of our college, he always gave me lots of food at lunch and dinner. On the last day I could meet him. Sir, I almost cried at that moment but I didn’t dare to make you sad. We will keep smiling, right? Because I promise to come back and visit and cook a dish from your cook book : D
To all my close friends, you chatted with me, you gave advice, you studied and taught me you supported me when I was sad. Living by myself in a foreign country would have been much harder to me if it had not been for your appearance. Particularly to my lovely roommate, days with you are the best memories of the last 18 months.
Today is my last day as a Student at Bosworth. It took me quite a long time to realize how much I love it and how much I miss it like I do at this moment. I will keep in mind every corner, every room, every door of the school. Thanks to all the staff. You have taken a very good care of me. I will keep in my mind all your smiles as they always lighted up my days at school. THANK YOU!

Wilson Kywa (Myanmar)
Course: Pre Academic English
University: St. Andrews

Wilson KYWA was our very first student from Mandalay, Myanmar. He joined Bosworth Independent College to undertake a two term Pre Academic English course in preparation for University studies. His first two terms were tough for him and at the time we were concerned about his progression to University but how wrong we were!
Wilson has just completed two years at St Andrews studying International Business and hopes to transfer to the USA to complete his final year. He recently returned to Bosworth to say 'thanks' to the staff and to see us before he transfers to the USA. Of course we wish him every success and it was so nice to see him transformed into a confident and positive young man. Well Done & good luck in the States!

Yumi Suzuki (Japan)
Course: A Levels

“I enjoyed studying at Bosworth a lot: the teachers and staff are very caring and friendly. I guess the best evidence of this is that most of us still keep in touch with our teachers, even though we have left the UK. I have a lot of memorable memories from Bosworth, with tears and laughs. I do believe if I didn't study there, I might not have the results I have today. I really would love to take this great opportunity to thank all the teachers who taught and supported me.I graduated from Warwick's Law School in 2005, and now I'm working for Clifford Chance as a paralegal in Hong Kong, and I'm still working hard to reach my dreams to become a lawyer.”

“I learnt skills that I’m using now at University. My peers from other schools are struggling to adapt to the teaching style at this level, but the University-style approach and involvement from teachers at Bosworth has helped me a real lot. They didn’t just ‘write and we copied’ – we had to participate and that is what they expect at University.”
